The original spot in the Haymarket at 800 P Street is a local favorite, while the newest one in the Telegraph District at 330 South 21st Street has quickly gained popularity. With additional shops on UNL’s Innovation Campus and near Union College, The Mill serves traditional coffee, espresso drinks, a wide variety of teas, and snacks in a welcoming atmosphere. This independently owned shop is known for its fast service, homemade pastries, and a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Located on the edge of UNL’s City Campus, The Coffee House attracts a diverse crowd.
Crescent Moon (www.crescentmooncoffee.com) at 140 N. 8th Street has been serving the Haymarket district for over 20 years, offering not only coffee but also beer, wine, and morning crepes.
Rock ’n’ Joe Coffee (www.rocknjoe.com), located at 5025 Lindberg Street, offers more than just great coffee. This New Jersey-based chain also serves lunch, beer, and wine, and occasionally hosts live music, making it a great spot for both daytime and evening visits.
New Day Coffee & Smoothies has multiple locations including a great spot at 4131 Pioneer Woods Dr. (www.nuvibelincoln.com) offering refreshing options for those on the go, while Gratitude Café & Bakery at 1551 N. Cotner Boulevard (www.gratitudecafebakery.com) exudes a small-town charm in a historic old bank building. Their scones are a must-try.

The Harbor Coffeehouse at 1265 S. Cotner Boulevard (www.harborcoffeehouse.com) is a Piedmont neighborhood favorite, and with a new location in the Haymarket, it’s perfect for meeting friends or clients.
Bagels & Joe (www.bagelsandjoe.com), locally owned and operated since 1993, has multiple locations across the city, offering a great selection of bagels, coffee, and more.
The Chocolate Season (www.thechocolateseason.com) at 3855 Village Lane specializes in handmade chocolates and confections, but their full espresso bar is not to be missed.
Bloom Coffee, at 505 North 27th Street, Suite 3, is a warm and inviting spot that sources its beans from fair trade farms and roasts them in-house. They offer a variety of coffee drinks, pastries, and other delicious items, making it an ideal place for a quick coffee or a leisurely brunch.
The Front Porch at 5925 Adams Street offers great coffee and affordable $5 meals, while Le Quartier Bakery & Café at 6900 O Street, Suite 132 in Meridian Park Plaza specializes in artisan sourdough, croissants, pastries, lunch, and wonderful coffee beverages.
