The Hyatt Place is a three-story hotel with 111 rooms, favored by both out-of-state visitors and international travelers. The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel • 333 South 13th Street

The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel has been a local landmark since 1923, hosting notable figures such as U.S. Presidents Dwight Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, and Richard Nixon, as well as Martin Luther King Jr., a former First Lady, and more recently, celebrities like Sir Paul McCartney, Pink, and Jon Bon Jovi. Elvis Presley even made an appearance for an autograph signing session.

The original hotel was demolished in 1982 and replaced with a newly designed, full-service hotel just minutes from the Haymarket District. As Lincoln continues to grow, new hotels are being built to keep up with the rising demand. Next year, our city will welcome two more hotels. The Residence Inn by Marriott, set to rise at 9th and R Streets in downtown Lincoln, is already under construction. Just two blocks away, Drury Development Corp and Drury Hotels have just begun work on an eight-story, 252-room Drury Plaza Hotel at 900 Q Street. This new addition will be part of Drury Hotels’ full-service brand, becoming Lincoln’s largest hotel.
